  • 100 percent pure acetone
  • Tray or bowl
  • Acrylic nail clippers
  • Floss pick or cuticle pusher
  • Metal cuticle pusher
  • Cotton balls or pads

Instructions

  1. Remove most of the length with acrylic nail clippers to make the removal process easier and quicker.
  2. Pour 100 percent pure acetone into a tray or bowl that is large enough to fit your nails.
  3. Soak your nails in the acetone for five minutes.
  4. Use a metal cuticle pusher to gently remove the polish from your nails starting from the bottom edge of the nail.
  5. Pry up the bottom edge of an acrylic nail with a floss pick or cuticle pusher and gently lift the acrylic nail off your natural nail.
  6. Use a cotton ball or pad dipped in acetone to remove any remaining polish or adhesive residue.

Tips

  • Be careful not to damage your natural nails when removing the acrylic nails.
  • If the acrylic nails are difficult to remove, soak them in acetone for a longer period of time.
  • Do not use acetone on your natural nails, as it can damage them.
  • After removing the acrylic nails, apply cuticle oil or moisturizer to your natural nails to help them recover.
